Task #10 Slumdog Millionaire

1. Tell the story from the point of view of Jamal.
I needed money to find the girl I've been in love with since I was little. For that, I participated in the contest "who wants to be a millionaire?" that everyone was talking about.
Everyone believed that I was cheating, but they didn't know that I knew the answers because I lived them. Thanks to that, I managed to win the contest and be able to be with the girl I loved, even if it means losing my brother, Salim.

2. What sort of society is shown in the film?
A society divided into castes.

3. How does luck affect Jamal's run in the contest?
He gets to answers all the questions of the contest.

4. What episode of Jamal's life was more memorable to you? Why?
When his brother Salim dies, because in the film he showing us a hard facet of him, but in the end he manages to save Latika.

5. If we compare our lives to that of Jamal we are surely much better off. However, what do you think you can learn from Jamal's life story?
The film teaches us that in spite of the extreme conditions that people can live, we cant get ahead by being fair and kind.
